| How It Works |

Experienced Paper is currently produced by developmentally disabled populations at RHD's Lower Merion Vocational Training Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. In seeking to expand employment beyond the developmentally disabled to include ex-offenders and adjudicated youth, Experienced Paper is seeking additional sources of paper and markets to support a new light manufacturing operation in Philadelphia. This Experienced Paper "crossover" model benefits employees, environmentally conscious donors and consumers, and society. Gainful employment helps the developmentally disabled learn useful skills and reduces the recidivism rate among ex-offenders, while also providing transferable work experience and economic self-sufficiency. In addition, the Experienced Paper model empowers employees to participate in the business managerially and financially. For environmentally conscious donors and consumers, Experienced Paper offers an efficient, productive way to maximize charitable donations and put purchasing dollars to work addressing society's challenges, all while helping sustain the environment. |
